Harvard Student Academy Pre Law

The Government: Pre-Law Academy introduces students to the foundations of the U.S. legal system while building essential critical thinking and analytical skills. Participants explore different types of law, including corporate, real estate, constitutional, and criminal law, gaining insight into how legal systems shape society.

Students examine landmark Supreme Court cases that have influenced modern laws and study the structure of both federal and state court systems. The program also teaches students how to read and analyze legal documents like a lawyer, strengthening their reasoning and comprehension abilities. Through practice with LSAT-style questions, participants gain early exposure to law school expectations. The academy culminates in an interactive mock trial, where students roleplay such as lawyers, witnesses, and judges to simulate a real courtroom experience.

The Harvard Student Pre-Law Academy is a dynamic and engaging program designed to introduce students to the foundations of the U.S. legal system while developing the critical skills required for success in the field of law.
